Weekly Workout Update: Crushing It and Staying Strong!

Welcome back to another edition of my weekly live workout! Each week, I share what’s been working for me, what new challenges I’ve faced, and how you can incorporate these tips into your own fitness routine. Whether you're just getting started or you're a seasoned pro, there’s always something new to learn and grow from.

Here’s how my week went and what we’re focusing on this time!

This Week's Focus: Full-Body Strength & Endurance

I’ve been all about full-body strength this week, with a focus on both strength and endurance. It’s been a challenging, yet rewarding, week, and I’m excited to share some of the moves that helped me stay strong, energized, and motivated!

Workout Highlights:

  1. Warm-up: Always start with a 5-10 minute dynamic warm-up to get your body ready for action. This week, I did some light cardio (jump rope or jogging in place) mixed with mobility drills (leg swings, arm circles, etc.).

  2. Strength Training:

    • Upper body - 6 exercises
    • Lower body - 5 exercises
    • Push - 6 exercises
    • Pull - 6 exercises
    • Legs - 5 exercises

Nutrition Tip of the Week:

After all that strength training and cardio, I made sure to prioritize recovery with a solid post-workout meal. I’ve been loving a protein smoothie with banana, spinach, and some almond butter to help with muscle recovery. I also added a scoop of my favorite protein powder for that extra boost.
